Murray’s Pharmacy – in the heart of Dublin City, Ireland – is a busy and well-organised dispenser of prescriptions and over-the-counter medical remedies. The sheer variety of our other medical goods and services may surprise.
Up to 30 customers per day are fitted for Elasticised Compression Stockings. We also measure and supply sports-injury and arthritic supports, and advise on various pressure relieving cushions – gel, foam, wool and air – and an array of incontinence products.
Visitors to the pharmacy can examine and receive advice on Homecare and Independent Living products: walking sticks, shopping trolleys, and rollators; shower-chairs, raised toilet seating, and commodes; kettle tippers, lightweight and adjustable cutlery, and non-slip trays. In fact 100s of helpful and cleverly designed products that some may not even know exist!
Murray’s Pharmacy is a division of a specialist medical equipment company. We therefore stock most of the homecare products recommended by hospitals and other medical professionals. For example, a person who has undergone a hip operation may be advised to use a raised toilet seat, a plastic shoe horn, a pick-up reacher, a bath seat or board, etc. We stock all such products.
We have a large range of Footcare Accessories and Orthotic arch supports and cushions, too. We also stock the ever popular ‘Cosyfeet Slippers’ range.
Murray’s seating section includes orthopaedic chairs, leg rests, and footstools. We have a comprehensive range of manual and powered wheelchairs, and we also supply powered scooters. Another part of our service is low-cost wheelchair rental – an invaluable facility to our city’s tourists.
